Shopping at the Grocery Store

I love going to the grocery store after going to The Little Gym. They have the coolest "kid size" shopping carts. Daddy took a video of me pushing the shopping cart.

I went to The Little Gym today. While in opening circle, we were told to do a certain position. I was told to do "straight body". Here I am being, "straight".

Santa

While I was at the Irvine Spectrum with Stella, Momma took me to Santa. Mommy was very happy because it's been 3 years since I've wanted to see Santa. I told him all the things that I want for Christmas.

Naughty or Nice

Stacey and Momma, took Stella and I to the Irvine Spectrum today. Stacey got Stella and I these shirts. I wore the "Naughty" shirt and Stella wore the "Nice" shirt.

Officially Potty Trained

Mommy and Daddy declared that I was "officially potty trained" on Halloween, October 31, 2008. I went #2 in the potty all by myself. Nana and Papa were soo proud of me. They even took me to Chuck E Cheese.

Mickey's Treat at Disney's California Adventure

We went to Disney's California Adventure for Trick or Treating a few days before Halloween. Daddy's cousin, Jackie, and her family were in town for the week. Jackie had baby John dressed up at Pluto. He wasn't too happy to be in his costume. I was dressed up as a Jedi.

Saturday at the Spectrum with Stella

I love hanging out with my pal, Stella. We had a great time at The Irvine Spectrum.

Stella Tires Me Out

Stella and I had a great morning. I took a 4 hour nap when I got home!

Saturday at Fashion Island with Stella

Mommy, Stacey, Stella and I went to Fashion Island today to do some shopping. We had a great time. Mommy likes to do things on Saturday mornings with Stacey to entertain Stella and I.

New Barber, New Haircut

Mommy thought she would try a new place to get my haircut today. She said she's tired of taking me to kid's places and getting a not-so-very-good haircut. She took me to a really cool barber in Costa Mesa today. I love my new Marine style haircut.

Fun Time at the Pumpkin Patch

Stacey,mommy, and daddy took Stella and I took the Pumpkin Patch on this day. We love going to this Pumpkin Patch. They have a bounce house, and all kinds of cool things to do.

Caden and Kai

Caden had a really good friend at school named Kai. They used to be in the same class together, but the teachers split them up. Caden and Kai were split up because of another little boy, but that's a whole other story.

Mike took some pictures of Caden and Kai the other day after school. They were playing together in the school yard.

Caden and Mommy Visit the Park

It's that time of the year for Mommy to work nights again. I have every Saturday morning off with Caden alone. I'm usually lacking sleep and try to entertain for 4-5 until my mom can watch him so I can nap.

Last Saturday I took him to the park. I was really excited because they have a brand new state of the art playground there. He played on the playground for like 10 minutes and then ran off.

He would rather wander around and chase the ducks. Those poor ducks, he would not leave them alone. Next time, I will have to take a better camera with me. These pictures were taken with my cellphone.

Potty Training

At the beginning of September, Caden's teachers approached me and wanted to have a meeting. They told me that we need to get rid of the pull-ups and put Caden in big boy underwear. I agreed.

So the next day, we put him in underwear. He's been doing pretty good. He's had some accidents here and there, mostly with #2. The kid always forgets to tell someone that he needs to poop.

He has only worn diapers and/or pull-ups for bedtime the past month. Sometimes he gets lazy and pees in the middle of the night. We understand, he's a sound sleeper.

He's holding out on going poop in the potty, but we will live with that. Every day is touch and go. Hopefully soon we will say that he is completely trained. I would say that he is about 75% trained.

Watermelon Day

A couple of weeks ago, they had a "Watermelon Day" at Caden's school. This occurred after school. They had some decorate watermelon's and all the kids we were little watermelons around their necks. They have watermelon on a stick for everyone to snack on. Here are some pictures of Caden and his buddies from school.

Caden in Stacey's Office

Caden goes to The Little Gym every Monday night. Sometimes we get there a little early and just let him run around and play. He usually finds his way into Stacey's office. Stacey found him in her office one day playing with the Post-It notes. He loves them.

Catalogs

Caden has a new favorite pastime of looking at catalogs. They are mostly toys and children's things. While he's looking at them, he says, "Mama I NEED this, Daddy NEED this." It's quite funny. He's been especially obsessed with the Halloween items. He can't make-up his mind on what he's going to be.

Unfortunately this year, we can't just buy him an ole' costume. He's very particular and has to chose it himself. "I do it myself!".

I asked him to try on some clothes for this picture. He decided to put this outfit together. I tried to tell him that it doesn't match.

Long time, no blog

We've been really busy with summer, working, and preschool. I will have to post some updates to Caden's blog.

I also changed the design on it. Hopefully, everyone will like it!!!

Caden Updates

Caden is doing great in his class at The Little Gym. Stacey is now one of his teachers. She has alot of patience. I know I couldn't do it. We've been taking Caden every Monday night. Sometimes we have good days, sometimes we have bad days.

About two weeks ago, Caden moved up in his preschool class. He's now in the 3-4 year old room. He's slowly adjusting to life with the big kids.

They have been doing water play in the afternoons. Of course, Caden loves it. He comes home soaking wet every day.

We went to Disneyland for two days last week. We actually stayed in a hotel this time. I will include some pictures in my next post.

Spring Semester at The Little Gym

Caden has been attending gymnastics classes at Stacey's, "The Little Gym" recently. We take him there every Monday night after school. He really likes it. He gets to climb, jump, and run around for an hour. Most of the time, he actually pays attention.

He was very happy this night, because his best friend, Stella, was there. This was also the last night of the Spring class. He got a medal for completing the class. YAY Caden!
