Skateboard Show

Last week I got invited to a Skateboard Show in San Diego. I didn't know if I was going to get the time off so that we could attend it. I usually work Saturdays. I was able to get it off so that we could attend. My mom went with us. It takes two people to tackle Caden at events like this. Caden had a BLAST. He was very excited and wants to go to more skateboard shows. We won two skateboard decks and a set of wheels in a raffle there too.

Guess Who Got a TV?

Well Mike saw that new dresser of Caden's and loved it. Of course he did. I have great taste. But guess what he said about it? He said, I know what we need above this dresser. I gave him that look. Well within two days of the dresser being delivered, a 32" Insignia LCD with a built-in DVD player arrived. Caden is soo excited. And you know what? He's slept in his bed ever since. So that makes everyone happy!

Julie Actually Cooked

I'm showing these photos cause I actually cooked some food today. I made lasagna. I got the recipe from The Pioneer Woman. She has some great recipes.

Caden Finally Got A Dresser

We've been holding back on getting a dresser for Caden. Cause, you know. He climbs things. My mom finally said that yes, it's time. This kid is acquiring too many clothes. So she bought him the dresser that matched his bed. Mike also put in some recessed can lighting too. Don't mind the nice red stain on his rug. He sprinkled some Crystal Light on it over a year ago.

Friday Night with Stacey and Stella

Mike and I went to dinner with Stacey and Stella at The Cheesecake Factory. We enjoyed a yummy dinner. Caden feasted on the bread. That kid loves bread. Mike left to go to the movies with Eric a little while later. Mike did take Caden and Stella on the HUGE Ferris wheel.

After Mike left, we all enjoyed some cupcakes at SweetSpot.

Disneyland in February

We took a family trip to Disneyland. It was a nice day, so we headed on out there. Cause you know that 15 minutes is such a far drive!

Aly's Birthday Party

We went to a birthday party in Yorba Linda today. It was at one of Julie's co-workers house. Their daughter Alyssa was turning 4. They had a bounce house/slide thingy. Caden was in heaven, of course!

A Recent Little Gym Class

Stacey changed Caden's class at The Little Gym to Tuesday nights. It's much better for me with my work schedule. I was able to get some video of the class last Tuesday.

Cleaning Up the Blog

I've decided to turn Caden's blog into a family blog. I'm going to try and post more about what everyone is doing in "The Dance House" besides Mr. Caden. So in between the Caden posts, you'll see posts about Mike and Julie too.

The End of the Winter Semester at The Little Gym

Caden had his end of the semester show at The Little Gym on Monday night. Mike and my parents went to see Caden perform. I was working...overtime. Stacey sent me these photos today. They were taken of Caden, Monday night.

Mike likes to take random videos of Caden with his cellphone video camera. He always sends them to me when I'm working. It makes me smile.

Breakfast with Lilo and Stitch

Monday, Caden was off school due to MLK. Stacey called and asked what he was doing for the day. Duh, hanging with Mike. So Stacey came and picked Caden up. She took Caden and Stella to breakfast with Lilo and Stitch at Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel.

First Dentist Appointment

We've been meaning to get Caden to the dentist. He had never been. I think we were afraid that he wouldn't sit still or bite someone. I don't know why we were so worried. I took him and he was fine. He was a perfect angel. He did everything they said. They cleaned his teeth, put some vitamins on them, and even took some x-rays.

He got a clean bill of health from them. I felt bad for the parent's sitting next to me though. Their son was like 4, and had 5 cavities. Apparently this kid was a heavy juice drinker. The juice sits on their teeth and causes cavities.

They told us to come back in 6 months for a cleaning.

Snow!

Momma Stacey, Carlos, Stella and I went to the snow this past Tuesday. Momma Stacey wanted to let Mommy sleep in for a bit. We went to Mt. Baldy and went sledding for a bit. It was a little icy, but we still had fun!

Christmas

We had a great Christmas. We went to the house of a family friend on Christmas Eve and then hung out at home at The Dance household on Christmas Day. Here's a slideshow of some pictures.

Shopping at the Grocery Store

I love going to the grocery store after going to The Little Gym. They have the coolest "kid size" shopping carts. Daddy took a video of me pushing the shopping cart.

I went to The Little Gym today. While in opening circle, we were told to do a certain position. I was told to do "straight body". Here I am being, "straight".

Santa

While I was at the Irvine Spectrum with Stella, Momma took me to Santa. Mommy was very happy because it's been 3 years since I've wanted to see Santa. I told him all the things that I want for Christmas.

Naughty or Nice

Stacey and Momma, took Stella and I to the Irvine Spectrum today. Stacey got Stella and I these shirts. I wore the "Naughty" shirt and Stella wore the "Nice" shirt.

Officially Potty Trained

Mommy and Daddy declared that I was "officially potty trained" on Halloween, October 31, 2008. I went #2 in the potty all by myself. Nana and Papa were soo proud of me. They even took me to Chuck E Cheese.
