After leaving Caden's track and field sports class, we headed to Pump It Up. Caden's preschool friend, Kyle, was having his 4th birthday party there. Caden had a great time. I went home and took a nap after. I was exhausted with all of the morning's events!
I love Sonic Drive-In. They have the best food and drinks. I'm kinda of obsessed with them ever since I visited Texas. I was very excited when they decided to build a Sonic to South Orange County. Even though it was crowded and traffic-y, we went. It was worth the drive, traffic, and crowds.
Today, Caden learned about soccer in his Saturday sports class. He listened very well and followed directions from the coaches. His only problem is he kept wanting to pick up and touch the ball. We had to tell him that we don't use our hands in soccer. He kicks the ball and shoots it in the goal pretty well.
I forgot my camera so here are some pictures taken with my cellphone.
My friend, Jinna, had a baby today. Her name is Jordyn and she is just precious! I went to visit her at Hoag Hospital while I was working. I took a ton of pictures. The last picture was the view from Jinna's hospital room!
Caden started a 4-week sports introduction class through the city today. Today was the first day and the theme was baseball. They learned to throw and catch the ball. Plus they hit the ball on a tee and ran around the bases. He didn't want to go to the class at first, but he really enjoyed it.
A Woody's Diner reently opened in Laguna Hills. Caden loves to drink their shakes. These are not kid-sized shakes. They are adult shakes. He loves to drink them!
Caden had a friend over today, Evan. Caden showed Evan how to play the XBOX. Evan 2 and really doesn't quite understand video games yet. Evan was just happy to play with all of Caden's toys. Evan is the son of one of my co-workers.
We went to Disneyland and California Adventure on Caden's 4th Birthday. If it's your birthday, you get free admission. Because we have Season Passes, Caden got a $59 gift card. Caden was kinda cranky that day. We didn't stay very long, but we had a good day. He bought some cars and a race track with his gift card.
The day after Caden's birthday party we took him to an Extreme Motorsports Off-Road Show at the O.C. Fairgrounds. They had all kinds of dirt bikes, and buggies, and other things for off-roading. Caden wanted everything, and so did Mike. Mike told me that he mentally spent a few hundred thousand dollars. Caden loved seeing all the cool things though, and we took lots of pictures.
After Caden's Little Gym party, we came home and relaxed for a bit. Then my parents, Karen, Lisa, Jacob, and Madison came over. Caden and the kids opened presents. They went crazy and I have no clue who bought him the gifts. I'm sending out generic thank you cards. Later, Lisa and I went out for a margarita. My car got broken into while we were having our one expensive margarita. But otherwise, it was a good party.
My friend Jen of Jen Johnson Photography came over this morning and took some photographs of Caden this morning for his fourth birthday. She is awesome. Mike was really impressed with her beautiful photography!
I've been running a lot lately. It's FREE! Why not!!! These are some beautiful pictures that I took while running the San Clemente Beach Trail with my friend, Pesha~ I know Pesha from High School.
While I was working today, they had a Civil War Re-Enactment in one of the parks in Costa Mesa. I've only seen these on TV, on the History Channel. I really didn't know how involved that these people get. There were in full costumes. It was pretty cool. I took a ton of photos with my work camera.
