15 Months Old!

My mommy has been really bad on updating my blog lately. Today, I am 15 months old. I can walk (well run most of the time), I talk (mostly dog), and I ate big people food. I am quite the climber too. My mommy and daddy chase me around the house alot.

I am a very smart little boy.

We went to the Picture People today to take my pictures. They are having a contest for their New Face Portrait Contest. My mommy and daddy dressed me up in one of my new Fall outfits. I love it. It is really comfy and I even let them put tennis shoes on me. My new shoes had really cool velcro that I can open and close.

Hopefully, my mommy will update this blog more often.

Summer Fun at The Irvine Spectrum

Mommy's friend, Stacey, babysat me today. Stella and I had a really fun day playing. Auntie Stacey took us to The Irvine Spectrum. For anyone that doesn't like locally, The Irvine Spectrum is an outdoor mall.

They have really cool fountains at The Spectrum. Auntie Stacey knew about an especially cool fountain. She calls it a "bubble fountain". The fountain shoots little pebbles of water straight up in the air. It is really cool.

4th of July

This was 4th of July. I really don't know what a "4th of July" is. All I know is my mommy got me this really cool red, white, and blue outfit. I drooled all over. Daddy thinks I have new teeth coming in soon.

So, mommy and daddy bbq'ed some burgers and we hung out at home. When it got dark outside, my bedtime usually, mommy and I went and saw fireworks in our neighborhood. They were really loud, but really cool too!

I had alot of fun. I can't wait till next year!

The "Official" First Birthday Pictures

My First Birthday Party!

My birthday party was today. It was at the park across the street from my house. I was soo happy that my friends could come and celebrate. We had mexican food to eat along with cake. I really loved the cake. My bigger friends got to hit a pinata too. I love all of my really cool presents.

I AM "1" !!!!

Today is my First Birthday! It has been a really fast year. I went from being a tiny 6 lb. preemie to a big boy! I can walk (for almost 2 weeks), I can talk (mom, dad, duck, dog, Bob), and I can eat real food (chicken, milk, almost anything)! I have so much energy, I really tire my mom and dad out!

My Great Grandma and Grandpa Ryder came from Northern California to visit me this weekend for my birthday. I haven't seen them since I was a tiny little baby! They couldn't believe how big I was.

My daddy and mommy got me a chocolate cake for my birthday. It was really tasty.

I can't wait till tommorrow though, my Birthday Party is tommorrow! Yeah!!!!

Bye Bye Paci's

I had a little secret to share with you all...

I am addicted to paci's. I guess the real word for theme is pacifiers. I can't get enough of these things.

Well my mommy and daddy decided that it was time for my addiction to end. They stopped giving me those wonderful paci's.

They collected all the stray paci's in a basket. Here they are.....

I have been paci-free for almost two weeks now!

My First Hair Cut

I went to First Cuts for my very first haircut today. It was in Fashion Island, Newport Beach, CA. They sat me in this really cool airplane chair. I was fine until that mean lady brought the scissors to my head. Then I decided to stand up. My mommy and her friend Stacey had to hold me down.

My friend, Stella, sat in the stroller and watched while I was getting my hair cut. She thought that it was very funny. She started clapping.

I think it's going to be a long time until I get a haircut again! That was not fun!

My New Sippy Cup

I am getting to be a real big boy now. My mommy took my pacifier away last week, mean mean mommy; I have 4 new teeth; and I am drinking whole milk. My mommy gave me this thing when I was eating dinner the other day, I think they call it a sippy cup. She told me that it's almost time to lose the bottle. What the heck? First the pacifier, and now you want to take my bottle away!

Anyway, I was getting very tired after drinking out of this sippy cup thing? I think my momma spiked the cup with vodka instead of water. I went to bed right after dinner this night.

Momma said I went to bed early because I am teething. She had to give me some tylenol that night.

Only a week and a half till my Birthday! Yippee!

Gymboree Play and Music

I have just started to be really interested in playing with other kids. My mommy and her friend, Stacey, took us (Stella and I), to this place where there are lots of other kids our age. It is called "Gymboree Play and Music". They have lots of cool stuff to climb on. We also sing songs and bounce around. I really like going there. We go once a week.

Easter Pictures

Well my mommy dragged me to Target last week to take some Easter pictures. They gave me all of these strange little bunnies to play with. The bunnies would not play with me though. They just sat there, and wouldn't move. That made me real sad.

My mommy and Stacey give me a new hairdo for the occassion though. I got a really cool mohawk. I look like a big boy now. Mommy said that my hair is starting to look like a mullet though. What's a mullet?

A mullet is a haircut that is short in the front and long in the back. The mullet should not be confused with the rattail, which consists of a long, narrow "tail" of hair growing from the back of the head. Mullets have been worn by males and females of all ages, but they have traditionally been most popular with younger men. A slogan or motto often associated with people who wear mullets is: "business in front, party in back."

It's only a month and a half away to my birthday. I can't wait!

Shopping at Nordstrom

I went shopping last week at Nordstrom. My mommy and Stacey thought put me on this table to change my diaper. I just wanted to play. I could care less about getting my diaper changed. I had alot of fun shopping that day. I got lots of new clothes to wear this spring and summer at Gymboree. Have I told you about Gymboree? My mommy gets all of my clothes at Gymboree. My grammy works there! Ok, I'm off to play! See you later!

Baby Jail

I recently learned to stand. My mommy is going crazy trying to baby proof everything. I think it's really funny, because once she baby proofs something, I find something new to get into. I learned how to open cabinets and drawers yesterday. I today I opened my closet doors and start rumaging through everything. I have a playroom set up in mommy and daddy's office. They put a big metal gate in front of the entrance so I can't get out. I love to stand against it though. I just want out of this baby jail!

Fun at Pottery Barn Kids

Today, I went to the Mission Viejo Mall with mommy, Stacey, and Stella. We had alot of fun. Stella and I wore matching Gymboree outfits, that grandma Debbie bought us. I got to eat breakfast at Ruby's Diner. I threw alot of food on the floor though. I found this horse that I like a whole lot at Pottery Barn Kids. See you soon!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Helloo Everyone! Happy Valentine's Day! I hope everyone has received the special Valentine's Day cards by now. I believe they turned out quite EXCELLENT! I went and took Valentine's Day photos with my friend, Stella. Yes, it's the same Stella that I took Santa pictures with for Christmas. We had a spectacular day that day. I am almost nine months old now. I am crawling everyone. My mommy and daddy try to keep up with me, but sometimes they just can't. I went and hid in their bathroom the other day and they were looking everywhere for me. Mommy caught sight of my foot and caught me though. Mom, Please Stop Taking Pictures...

My mommy and daddy bought Grandpa Bob and Grandma Debbie a new digital camera for Christmas. Mommy, Dad, Grandpa Bob, and Grandma Debbie were all at the house in Whittier this weekend. My mommy and grandma were having a garage sale. Although I don't know why anyone would want to sale a garage.

So anyway, I thought that it would be real fun to go and play in the grass. Of course, my mommy thought that it was cute that she had to take pictures. I swear that mommy of mine took like a bu-zillion pictures. Just because you are CSI mommy, doesn't mean you need to bring your work home. Sometimes I just want to be a kid and play, without the camera flashing in my face.

My Mini Play Pen

Hello Everyone! This is my first post for the New Year! I'm sorry that I have gotten behind in my posts. It has been really busy here lately. I promise to keep everyone updated in the New Year, 2006! I have two teeth now and I am crawling. Because I am crawling, I am everywhere. My mommy caught me under the computer desk the other day, playing with the trash. The trash is more fun to play with than my toys. My mommy was trying to fold some laundry and I kept crawling out of the room. So she invented this mini play pen for me! It really is a laundry basket but I don't know the difference. I haven't figured out how to get out of these baby jail yet, but I soon will. Ok, that is it for now! I will talk to you later. My First Christmas

Wow! Today is Christmas! Santa Claus came and dropped off lots of presents. I also got some kewl toys from my mommy and daddy. My Grandpa Bob and Grandpa Debbie also came over for the day to open presents and have dinner. I loved unwrapping everything. I can't wait to play with all of my new toys. I also want to thank everyone for all the presents that I got from others.

Caught Red Handed!

Daddy let me play in the living room last night. I got to roll over everywhere. I'm trying to crawl, but not quite yet. So all of the sudden, daddy heard a crunching noise and came over to see what it was. Well, I had found some of my presents under the Christmas tree. I was trying to open them for Christmas. Then Daddy said, "No, Caden you can't open this presents, Christmas is still three days away." I was very sad, because I know there's got to be some very cool toys under all of that wrapping paper.

My First Visit With Santa!!!

I went and visited Santa for the very first time today. My mommy, my quasi-aunt Stacey, my girlfriend, Stella, and I went to Mission Viejo mall to visit Santa. I was very intriqued by the Santa Claus. I was having fun playing with his white fluffy beard.

My family and I are all settled into our new house. My room is still getting organized though. Boy, babies are soo little, but boy do we have alot of stuff!

I go to the Dr. tommorrow for my six-month check-up. My mommy can't wait to see how much I weigh. I weight at least 18 pounds now. I'm getting to be a big boy! We are going to discuss eating solid foods with the Dr. So, I might be eating at the table for Thanksgiving along with my family. This will be my first Thanksgiving. I can't wait!

On Friday, the day after Thanksgiving, I will finally get to meet my grandpa Bob and grandma Kim. We are meeting them in Victorville, CA. They live in Sparks, NV.
